11 And God said, “Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants [5] yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind, on the earth.” And it was so.
God mentions that he created the angiosperms but failed to create the gymnosperms. Gymnosperms make up about 25% of the world's vegetation but god never said he created them. This fact contradicts that God made everything you see through Creationism. (gymnosperms is only one example of vege)
Then God poofed in creatures in the ocean, birds livestock, creeping things, beasts, and man.
He never mentioned that he poofed in Bacteria, Archaea, Fungi, and Protista! And these make up most of diversity and abundance of life on earth! It is at least half a million species that god failed to create. This fact also contradicts that God made everything you see through Creationism.
Even if he did all that he mentioned. How do u explain the things god didnt create? u cant. Not with logic u cant.

Follow Anne's breakfast logic then, God could have created evolution and didn't mention it. He could have did the chicken dance while making things here and there. He could have made Hitler to do what he did and didnt mention it. You could pin so many things to what god did then if you say that.
MY ARGUMENT is only for people who interpret the bible LITERALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the problem with that group that call themselves creationists:
They are not Biblically literate.
The Bible states this earth is eons and eons old, not the 6000 years this group states.
They believe that because Genesis 1:1
states that God created the earth, that the verses that follow it are the description of the first creation: THEY AREN'T.
The Bible tells of three earth ages. The one that was, was eons ago. The earth sat still after the war with Satan for untold billions of years. Then, when you read the account in Genesis, you are reading of God rejuvinating the earth to ready it for flesh habitation. There is no controversy between the truth of Gods Word, and true
Science. There is no reason a person should feel they need to jump onto either bandwagon. Our world's dedicated scientists should be celebrated, not fought with. Science and Gods Word are partners,
and have no problem with one another.
I study in the manuscripts, for about 30 years and I am constantly amazed at how
little people actually understand what is written in the Bible.
As far as creationists go, I personally wish they would silence themselves until they
go to a real Bible lesson, but I imagine they
will continue to spout nonsense. Oh well.

"Argument from Silence is an informal logical fallacy where a positive conclusion is drawn from someone's silence." There may be other reasons why the bible doesn't mention their creation, such as the inability of the early readers to understand the distinctions between the various types of plants. Furthermore, the bible makes clear that "all things were created by God and for God. He is before all things and in him all things hold together," (Colossians 1:16b-17)

What a mess Iam sure you think you are educated because only a educated idiot could have written what you did?
If I say I created or built a house but I didnt mention that I built a upstairs attic does that negate my claim? God is the final causal factor and many things are in existance as a direct result of his creation and would not be in existance without his creation. God created man. Yet your not listed nor I in any chapters and verses of the Bible by name that is.But we are a direct result of his creation Adam. Use your time and energy and imagination for something intelligant and useful.

I think that your wrong to say that God failed to create the gymnosperms and so fort. Science doesn't have all the answers, how can human beings understand something that is far greater than that of their understanding. He had created all things and what is there is there. It is pointless to say that God forgot to mention that He had created this and that.

I understand your point, but some people have missed it. For Anne P, your metaphor fails because it isn't actually depicting what the asker is saying. For instance, if you were to say "I had every single type of breakfast food this morning, I had pancakes, waffles, eggs, and sausage!" This would be a false statement because you have omitted thousands of kinds of breakfast foods, which you didn't eat, so the whole you ate everything wouldn't be true. This isn't the clearest metaphor, just trying to run with what you tried to had.
This is to also say that this argument presented by the asker isn't the strongest argument, but it is a valid one.

The bible doesn't mention these details because the fairy tale writers weren't that smart. The bible is written so desperate simpletons will grab hold and latch on. Thus keeping them busy and out of the hair of those of us progressively evolving. They have a hard time believing in evolution because way back when, someone dumped a little too much chlorine in their gene pool and killed off hope.

Who is he? God does not mention anything in Genesis or later except to Moses. God did not write the Bible. Sorry he did not mention bacteria and all that stuff. The story of creation is symbolic and representational (do you think I can create a macro to say that).

Ask God why He didn't tell you that he was creating fungi. One thing I know for sure, my God is not logical. He will again create all things NEW.

He created all that he mentioned. He didn't mention all that he created. Strict logic would have to accept this scenario.
for example- this morning I drank coffee. If I also ate an egg, but failed to mention it, am I lying about the coffee?
If I said- the ONLY thing I had this morning was coffee, THEN I would be lying about the egg.
