Some say this is the Christ returning to earth in the last days to execute judgment on the earth, while others hold that it is the antichrist of Satan's, and yet a third camp claims it is just symbolic of the early church of the 1st century! What say ye??

The Apocalypse Of Saint John
Chapter 6:2

"White horse"... He that sitteth on the white horse is Christ, going forth to subdue the world by his gospel. The other horses that follow represent the judgments and punishment that were to fall on the enemies of Christ and his church. The red horse signifies war; the black horse, famine; and the pale horse (which has Death for its rider), plagues or pestilence.

The four horsemen of the apocalypse are described in Revelation chapter 6, verse 1-8. The four horsemen are symbolic descriptions of different events which will take place in the end times. The first horseman of the apocalypse is mentioned in Revelation 6:2, "I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest." This first horseman likely refers to the antichrist, who will be given authority and will conquer all who oppose him. The antichrist is the false imitator of the true Christ, as He will return on a white horse (Revelation 19:11-16).

It is the same horse and rider that is depicted at Rev.19: 11-16, only, in Rev. 6: 2, Christ was given a crown and he had a bow and represents him riding forth to conquer Satan and evict him from heaven to the earth and all the demons with him. The beginning of the end of this, Satan's system.
Then came wars--the red horse, famine--the black horse and then the woes for the earth and for those that reject God.

It is the Antichrist coming to conquer the world. Christ returns on the white horse later in Revelation to clean up the mess from Armageddon and establish the Millennial Kingdom.

This is actually one of the most important things you will read of in prophecy; Hi, I
study in the manuscripts.
This FIRST white horse rider is no other than satan himself, coming to the earth disguised as Christ, pretending to be Christ.
He comes first, before ANY gathering back to Christ happens. That means that no group of individuals will be going anywhere before this event takes place. This first rider has a bow, but has no arrows, why?
Because remember, he's coming pretending to be loving, good, sweet Jesus Christ, and so he will come in peacefully and prosperously; a chicken in every pot,
love and tolerance for all, no more war, no more homeless - but he is the Antichrist.
Since most people believe the devil would come killing people, it will be just the opposite; He'll be teacher/preacher/savior.
This is why Scripture says that mother will turn a daughter in and a son will turn in their own father - because they really believe it is Jesus Christ returned, and they so very much want their loved ones to be saved.
This is also one of the biggest reasons why the rapture doctrine is so dangerous; all those who think they will be raptured out before Antichrist comes, and who perhaps have read those books called "left behind" are going to be deceived. The two working in the field, one is taken, the other left. Well, if you back up to capture the subject and object of what is being discussed, you will see the subject is Antichrist coming first before christ comes. You WANT TO BE THE ONE LEFT WORKING IN THE FIELD; The ones taken are taken by Antichrist. These are those spoken of in Prophecy who are harvested out of season.
This first white horse rider who comes I am quite sure will use that rapture doctrine to
deceive them. Antichrist comes on the 6th trump; the true Christ doesn't return in any way shape or fashion, until the 7th trump.
Can't people count anymore?

In Rev 6.2 the rider is neither Christ not the antichrist. that's an emblem that there'll be "conquering" on earth interior the final Days. this is without doubt considered one of the indications to seek for alongside with killing, famine, mass extinction, persecution of the saints, and social upheaval. Rev 6:a million ¶ and that i observed while the Lamb opened between the seals, and that i heard, because it have been the noise of thunder, between the 4 beasts asserting, Come and notice. Rev 6:2 and that i observed, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown develop into given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to triumph over.

Christ's return riding on a white horse and wearing diadems (rather than a stephanos) is described in Revelation chapter 19, verses 11 to 16:

There are arguments for all three. The most common agreement is that the first seal that releases the white horse and rider is the anti-Christ. Although John's text is full of imagery for the times, I doubt it would suggest that the Lamb of God (Jesus) would break a seal to release himself.
