Is 26 years considered "too" much?

The only gap you need to worry about is how you feel about each other. Society might not be comfortable with an age gap, but society doesn't pay your bills or clean your house. You do, so what is more important than anything is how the both of you feel toward each other and what you both want out of life.
You do need to be realistic, one of you is aging and will require a different lifestyle, and different needs. Is the younger of the two of you willing to put their life on hold to do these things for the other person?
Both of you just need to sit down and see if realistically you are both looking for the same thing? Just like any other couple out there.

Hey i'm sorry but 26 years is like way to much, when you were born he was like almost old that is just kinda wrong cuz when your 36 he will be 56, 20 years is too much 16 years is to much 10 years is not so bad 5 or 6 years i think is a good age limit. but hey your life not myne so go with whatever you think is right.

How old is the younger person?

I think an 18 year old dating a 44 year old is too much. The 44 year old probably has children (maybe as old as 20-26!).

I would definitely have a problem if my mother or father were dating someone younger than I am.

Who knows…

People opinions stink on this topic all the time.
4 years is ok sometimes, but only under these circumstances…
10 years is ok, but only if this…

Thing is, society has no clue what is and isn’t ok.
Do whatever feels right for you.
You are allowed, life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
If dating a dusty old dude makes you happy, then go for it!

P.S. Just don’t break the law…

Between a couple the real gap would be "lack of understanding" not age at all.

I think when they are old enought to be your parent thats to old. Because sone one or the other will start acting like the parent or the child.
