What do you see? Honestly....(And of course not literally looking, but you know what I mean, for those who choose to make some lame reply about muscle tissue and blood)

Jer 17:9 -
The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?

Pr 16:25 -
There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.

Ps 53:1
The fool says in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt, and their ways are vile; there is no one who does good.

22 Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' 23 Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'

When I look into my heart I see a sinful soul. One that desperately needs salvation. I am a Christian and I also know that my heart wants to decieve me. My heart would love for me to stray from Christ and not do the things I should.

My heart would like me to believe that all people that confess Christ will be in heaven.

My heart is often decieved. I need to constantly read the Bible so I will not lean on my own understanding, because often my own natural ways are not God's ways.

I want to love money and my posessions. I want to repay evil evil. I want to gossip and backbite.

No, I need to fill my heart with truth and this truth is only found in the Bible. Then I need to remind myself that I need to live up to what I know is the truth.

"Look Inside Your Heart ... of course not literally looking". "but you know what I mean"

Not really. Are you unable to express this question (?) in realistic terms? If you use metaphors as sloppy and fuzzy-edged as 'heart', how can you expect useful answers?

Or do equally sloppy and metaphoric answers - like "God", above - really cut it for you?

In their 'hearts', people are supposed to have: love; conscience; fear; treachery; sadness; joy; larceny; jealousy; anger; envy; sloth; gluttony and lust. Some people believe there are deities in there, too. They're all wrong.

All I have in there is blood. I keep emotional responses in my head. Right now irritation is uppermost.

A tender heart that has been hurt many times and now keeps a shield around itself. But a heart that is capable of love, compassion for others and joy.

Honestly? A lot of sadness. Partly because I have family and friends calling me to pray for their friends who lost someone in the VT shooting. Partly because I come on here and I see how callous people can be to each other. And partly because my new car got hit.

i see someone who has a knack for cheering people up, someone with a lot of love and excitement and kindness to share with the world but isn't sure how to express it or give it. Someone who is affected by the world around her and putd everyone's life and needs before her own.
I like myself and i trust a lot of people, i beleive that everyone has kindness within them. I just wish i knew how to express my kindness. :)

There's a little sign that says "Welcome" and a bit of bacon, some chapstick, my running shoes and a bag of turnips. Oh, the turnips still have the greens attached. It's an interesting still life.

Oh my word! Jesus... is that you? Why have you been behind the left ventricle all this time?!~

Seriously though. I see nothing. As an atheist, I have no heart. Just a black void I fill with Satan and witchcraft. Sorry.
