Last month, I was talking to this guy for like 2 months and we were getting along fine but then he just stop talking to me. Months before, I was talking to this other guy since December 2006, we get along great and all but I want someone to love me for who I am. I just think no one really likes the real me. Seriously only when you began to understand the true nature of relationship well you be able to form one thats long lasting and meaningful. You talk about geting along with these guys but their actions show that you never really develop a friendship with them, not good. Relationship based soling on sexuality, or future expectations of sexuality are meaningless. Friends can become great lovers, great lovers rarly become friends, understand. With this in mind you need to create relaitonship for the reason you stated; you and them, not the sex/family/future bs that we paint relationships with so much in this day and age. Those things are a product of a relationship, not the sole cause. Understand that behind every deep and meaningful relationship is a friendship. So concentrate on that, sex can ruin a friendship, if the two individuals in it, or not welling to grow, and drop expectation beyond what made them friends in the frist place. Also understand friendships are not simply relationship in which the two individuals just tolerate each other. In a true friendship both individuals are commented to slapping the other when they've done wrong for themselves, and hug/give props when they've done something right. In other words, you share a common love and understanding not just for each other but for each others lives. You'll know a geniune relationship because you want have to question its intentions, they'll be laid out for both of you to see as you relate your day to day lives, past experiences, and hopes for the future. Also realize that with our society the way it is, only so few are even able to make geniune friendships, better yet making loving, meaningful, deep relationships. This is always due to most part, peoples inability to accept that love isn't enough, you most have so much more and be welling to grow at every step togehter and the only way is to be honest not just with what your secure with but espacially with what your not. If it was easy we all would have had fairy tale relationships, it just unfornate that people don't realize they can still have that if they write that fairy tale themselves.... good luck and don't let your fear of being alone scare you into a relationship you don't like just for the sack of them being there. Trust me the man your after wouldn't of sold himself that short ether... well not for long we all make mistakes, its just the smart ones learn and grow faster ;-)
