Can you not conceive of the possiblity of someone hating the bible but not GOD. If some charismatic cult leader persuaded your son or daughter to join and believe all kinds of things that were not true, would you be happy about it? That is exactly what the christian church has done for hundreds of years now. Jesus said that the god of the old testament is satan and not to believe a word of it, so I don't. Source: Apocryphon of John, read it and live.

I don't hate the bible or God. I think the bible is a work of fiction and I think God is a delusion. Until somebody can prove otherwise, I will stick with these beliefs.

If indeed there is a God, then the Bible has nothing to do with God. The Bible was written and conceived and made-up by humans. It has nothing to do with a God. However, if there is a God, then where is he/she/it? If God did created everything, then there is no logical reason to create everything, except it is a science experiment. God appears to be illogical at best.

Practitioner of idiocy: Why do you assume those who believe in evolution, hate God? I believe that God revealed his own mastery of the universe through the infinitely wondrous and complex workings of evolution. What could be a greater testament to God's glory than that? We have no evidence of 6-day young-Earth creationism, but there are boundless volumes of evidence behind evolutionary theory; fossil records, radioactive dating, geology, biology, all of these and more point to evolution.

I don't hate god because it's pointless to hate something that doesn't exist. Even more pointless then to hate the bible as it's the stories about something that doesn't exist.

There is a big difference between hate and disbelief. I don't believe that fairies exist but I don't hate them, either. You lack any sense of logic whatsoever in this question as well as the ability to spell correctly.

misleading, they want to be believe in something to make you feel better about yourself, live with god, be forgived for your sins etc. Its a bunch of bologna as far as im concerned. If there was a god he wouldnt take the lives of all the good honest people and let the evil ones live.

bahbahblindsheep: i don't hate the bible. i just think it's a poorly written book. certainly god could have done better if such a god exists. futhermore, i don't hate god. i don't waste my time hating things that don't exist. there's an infinity of things that don't exist. you know how much time i would waste if i spent just one second hating each of those things?
