I have had 2 Dakotas, 93 Sport 4x4, 94 LE Extended Cab. Whats' your axel ratio? What model and equipment do you have in it? Most of the time trucks are limited by low octane fuels, gear ratios, and aerodynamics. But their is many ways of getting around them without laying down big money. Your denfinatly don't want to remove the sensor, just get the computer reprogrammed, or buy a programmer. I have many ways of getting more out any type of vehicle without serious wrench time.
