If you are a dietician or personal trainer, I'd love to hear from you.
This is what I eat every day. I am 27 and weigh 138-140 and am 5'3. I feel I am overweight. I seem to not be losing weight like I want to. Should I up my cardio routine to all days of the week? I currently do Tae Bo 3 times a week for 40 minutes.

A bowl of granola (half full) with a little milk
Orange juice (not a full glass)

1/4 cup of mixed nuts mid-morning

Lean Cuisine for lunch

1/4 cup mixed nuts mid-afternoon

Veggie Burger on Wheat Bread with Lettuce, Tomato or 6 inch Turkey sub from Subway

a fruit cup in evening or chocolate...depending

Oh yeah. I have an office job so I sit on my butt most of the day...aside from getting up and going to the water cooler. I have 3 full water bottles while I am at work.

you have to do cario 4-6 times a week to see results.
too much nuts - they are good, but high in calories.
i dont see any fruit and veggies??? its better to eat your fruit than drink them.
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
dont try to lose more than 1-2lbs a week - its not healthy to lose more.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried - no junk food.

I am not a dietitian, but I worked as a personal trainer for 10 yrs. and worked along side a dietitian.
It seems to me that you are not eating enough. You should be eating fruit and or vegetables with your snacks, dinner and lunch. Fruit cups have extra sugar that you don't need so eat fresh fruits only and make sure your milk is 1% or non-fat. Granola though a good source of fiber and protein is high in fat. You might try egg whites with non-fat or low-fat cheese and a slice of whole grain toast. I would also cut out the orange juice, the sugar in the OJ spikes your blood sugar first thing in the morning. By not eating quite enough your body goes into starvation mode and holds on to the extra weight. Mixed nuts also have a great deal of salt so you might try a slice of turkey and non-fat cheese with triscuits and an apple for a snack. It also sound like you need to more water. I keep a water bottle with me all day to sip on.

tae bo 3x a week for 40 minutes is good, you could do 1 more day of cardio for 30-45 minutes. if you do a weight training program, that would be good too, you dont need to do anything too extreme, 20 minutes 3x week would be good. women shy away from weight training because they think they will get bulky muscles, that is not true. it will help improve your calories burned daily. your diet isnt bad for the most part, i would change a couple things. if you prefer whole oranges to orange juice, i would eat the whole orange. it digests slower than the juice, if not, then dont worry about it, its not a big deal.. stop eating the fruit cup or chocolate at the end of the day. have that mid afternoon and eat the nuts in the evening. or you could have the fruit cup after your workout.. not in the evening before bed. you really dont have room to cut any more calories, they are already low.. if you are not getting results from this diet, you may need more cardio, but i still would recommend weight training 3x week before more cardio. hope this helps

It doesn't seem like too much but rather not enough. Try counting your calories up and making sure you are getting at least 1200 calories a day. Also stay away from granola it is way too high in calories. Try special K protein instead. Also instead of orange juice to drink eat an orange and drink some water. Lastly one of the biggest problem that i see in your diet is that you are not getting enough fiber or dairy. Try adding a salad to your dinner and replacing one of your mixed nuts snacks with celery with reduced fat peanut butter on it. For dairy try drinking a glass of fat free or low fat milk with lunch or diner and maybe having a nonfat yogurt for one of your snacks.

Eat less granola (lots of calories!!! And don't get sweetened granola) and more skim milk. Shoot for 300 calories each meal.

Eat less than 1/4 cup nuts!!! There are approximately 120 calories per 1 oz!

You wrote lean cuisine... but lean cuisine what and how much???

Your dinner sound not adequate (lower than 300 cals) and so does your last meal of the day

nuts are a slow release of energy, so u cant burn the calories off as fast as you would like to.
you may have a slow active thyroid.
are you having semi-skimmed milk?
Make your own sandwich, have brown bread salad ect.
eat plent of fish.
when going to the gym make sure you work as had as you can until you go home.
try and eat different thing each day not the same and drink plent of water - 8pt a day or near to

Looking at that, you may not be getting your full calorie count. Especially if you are active, you need to be consuming more. Also, where is your water? What you have for dinner seems to be something that needs to be improved. Try new recipies.

You're actually not that overweight. I would work on toning instead of losing.
