I was just wonderin. I work at a store (nameless) where they put them togeather. I used to be a manager for a restarunt and took a food saftey course that taught us never keep and food by cleaneing produts. I have mentioned this to a couple of the bosses where I work now but it really doesnt seem to be a big deal for them. am I wrong to let this bug me so much?

It is unacceptable. Who knows if a chemical could break open and spill on the containers of water? I totally agree with you. And I'm glad you're up on food safety, and I'm glad it bugs you. The health inspector might want to know about this, even if you have to do it anonymously.

Google OSHA (occupational safety and hazard) and you will find out that this is very unacceptable and you can get yourself in a lot of trouble and pay thousands in fines if they are caught. Chemicals should not even be in the same truck with anything that could be ingested.

Not acceptable at all. Chemicals of any kind should never be beside of above consumable products. For that very reason, I wash the top of soda/beer cans and bottles of water, even wine from the supermarket before opening, and silly me, pour them in a glass. They "taste better" to me, lol.

That is indeed unacceptable and you should report it.
