Makes sense to me. Assuming my child was a good person then that would suggest that Heaven is NOT a nice place.

If my children forsake God, they would be unbearable in Heaven. There is something that merits address here: I wonder how many atheists have some smarmy misinformation that Heaven is about sitting around on clouds and plunking on harps and praising God in a forever family reunion style party?
There will be a kingdom to rule jointly with Christ, among other things - there will be business to conduct, and things to learn. So many people have the idea that Heaven is an escape from work since they despise work now. In fact, a good number of people are not dealing with life now so they think of nothing more than getting out of life.
I would rather imitate the heroic fictitious character, Reepicheep, from the Chronicles of Narnia. His attitude about getting through life for Aslan (analogous to Christ):
"...My own plans are made. While I can, I sail east in the "Dawn Treader." When she fails me, I paddle east in my coracle. When she sinks, I shall swim east with my four paws. And when I can swim no longer, if I have not reached Aslan's country, or shot over the edge of the world in some vast cataract, I shall sink with my nose to the sunrise and Peepiceek will be head of the talking mice in Narnia."
Heaven can be heavenly without my children, but if they are not citizens and were allowed in, they would destroy all.

If my child was evil and if it had been my fault I would ask God to place me in Hell, but if the child were evil at his own wish then I shall respect God's decision, because I can't take responsibility for his choices, but for my mistakes.

Happiness can not exist for me,without the people I love around me. If the people I love go to "Hell", then no "God" nor "Heaven" can possibly make me happy.

If my beautiful precious babies were damned by anyone, even/especially god, I would hate that person/entity for as long as I had conscious thought. I certainly would never want to spend eternity with someone who dammed my children. No, I would not go to heaven if my children were in hell.

No. It would mean my child rejected God and thus condemned himself to hell. Heaven is not what we know on earth. There is no marriage, sex, sopping, golf etc., etc.
It is loving God for all eternity. We can't even imagine what heaven is like. The finite mind cannot grasp the infinite.
Praise God!

I wouldn't want to go to Heaven if the people on here are going to Heaven.

God doesnt "allow" people to go to hell. People make their own decisions. If you choose to reject God, then that means you are choosing eternal seperation from him. Period. The only other place to go is hell. You bought your own one-way ticket.
