Hi everyone... this might sound like a silly question or something, i'ts really annoying me though! I've tried everything I can think of = [

When I open Microsoft word (i think 2005 or 2006 :-S) on my account the text starts about halfway down the page, I cant put pictures or anything up there and the only way I can d it is by using a HUGE text box and writing in that or going on somebody else's account but I basically just want the convenience of being able to use my account.
I've tried changing the margins and fiddling about with the page settings and stuff like that, this is my last resort people!!!

Thank you!!!!!!!!

Normally you'd Go to FILE then PAGE SETUP and there should be something that says "Margins" decrease the number of the "Top margin" You said you tried this so,

Try going to VIEW, HEADER FOOTER, Decrease the size of your HEADER...maybe you accidentally put one..

OR try
Click in the section (section: A portion of a document in which you set certain page formatting options. You create a new section when you want to change such properties as line numbering, number of columns, or headers and footers.) you want to change.
On the File menu, click Page Setup, and then click the Layout tab.
In the Section start box, click the option that describes where you want the current section to begin.

Yep. It sounds like it is trying to center your text on the page. Go into Page Set Up and check your margins, vertical alignment, etc. If this doesn't help, view your headers and footers to see if you may have something there causing the use of that space.

Is it possible you are using a Template or other pre-defined file?

When I've done everything I can to resolve a problem and it still won't go away, I call in fresh eyes before I toss the computer across the room. And with someone else checking for me, I leave the room so as not to interfere with their assessment by venting and saying "I DID THAT."

Good luck.

Without playing games, don’t be available 100% of the time or let your life be an open book. A man that comes on too strong or doesn’t have outside interests will scare a woman away just as much as it would if the circumstances were reversed. Read here http://AttractAnyWoman.emuy.info/?9iP6

Women don’t want to feel as though they are completely responsible for your happiness and that is what it feels like when the other person has no outside interests. Men who are overeager or jump when the woman says jump are the ones who are more likely to end up in the friend zone. This doesn’t mean that you should play the game of not calling for a few days; it means that you should set healthy boundaries until you both naturally find a spot for the other in your lives.
