If you say that Isaiah is talking about Satan being Lucifer or the morning star, then why does Jesus later say he IS the morning star? Is he Satan? Seems satanic to me to pretend to be the son of God.
Isa 14:12
How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning!(also known as the morning star) how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

Dust: Come on....It's hypothetical, man. I don't mean to say that Jesus or Satan actually exist. What I am asking is if the bible itself says Jesus is Satan.

Jesus is the truth, love and happiness. In a practicle sense, if he is human, then I have never seen a selfless man such as he. He never advocated for revenge or war, and his message was that of love and peace. His influence on the spiritual and physical well being of man is incalculable. He is the stop valve when things get out of controll. How many suicides has he prevented? How many murders has he stopped, How many stress related illnesses has he prevented? If He was the son of God, then How many miracles has he performed? Imagine the world as we know it without the influence of Jesus Christ - Man and/or God. Where would we be?

Interesting. Of course, Lucifer was referring to the king of Babylon (I think Nebuchadnezzar, but I'm not sure).

Seriously, I think a Gnostic opinion is that Jesus' bad side (and a twin-Judas-?) were his 'eidelon' (lower self) and Jesus represented the 'daemon' (higher self)

My guess is that this verse says that Satan was trying to be like God. Which is why he got booted out of Heaven. He got pridefull.
