I know that newscasters do it. If they take a class, what do they call it? Where can you find them?

There are speech pathologists who specialize in accent reduction. Go to asha.org to find one (American Speech Language Hearing Association).

Voice coach, maybe? Dialect coach?

What they do is find a target accent, then it's not so much as losing their accent as gaining a new one. Listen to as many things as you can in the target accent, and read as well.

BTW, the movie My Fair Lady was a great depiction of a person learning a new accent.
