I believe both actually. Love is and can be a wonderful feeling, indescribable and it does come and go. And if you've never loved, you'll never experience the wonders love can bring and how much it makes you feel when you're with the other..
but in the other hand, love can be heartbreaking. Love can make you or break you, and when you're heartbroken, you believe that you rather never had loved at all. Some ppl recover from heartbreaks faster then others

I'd never say anything rude when the subject is on love unless it was accidental.
Yes, it is better to have love and lost. I was in major love with a girl and we were together for 22 months. She had an affair with her boss and I broke it off. I loved her madly and it hurt so much I thought of killing myself but that was a fleeting notion that I got over within a week. It's been 13 years now and I still have love for her to the point that it's the feeling I strive for with anyone I date. I'm very much single and until I find that love or even close to that love, I won't be happy so I've become picky in my old age but at least I do know what true love feels like and I know I was an idiot for not going back and taking her back.
BTW, I just found her obituary on the net a few days ago. At least she has a good life and had two daughters.

Hmmm. Kind of hard to answer. You "love" your partner only for about 3 years or so. Then you develop a caring friendship for that person but in no way are you "in love" any more. It's worth it if you get children out of it since the only true love that exists in the world is the love for a child. But if you plan on skipping the children route, then I'd skip the relationship route as well. Most of us married folk wish that we were single anyhow. Not because we wish to screw around but because we get sick of raising a grown up and it's so much easier on the body and mind to just have to worry about yourself and no one else. Plus, no one can complain and nag about the things that you do. People will balk but it's the truth.

I tell human beings love is the suitable element a guy or woman can do whilst each little thing is going authentic and the worst element a guy or woman can do whilst issues are going undesirable. i choose for to no longer love today yet circuitously, I do plenty for those with out them even understanding i'm doing it. safer that way. extra useful to have enjoyed and lost than to on no account have enjoyed in any respect? so as that we'd learn from our pains and not lead them to others.

I think its love and lose. Atleast you felt why. Sometimes its hard to belive how such an amazing thing could hurt you but you havent seen the damages it could do.
but to chose not to feel it...you cant promise yourself that. Either somebody will come or if you think about it, you can really succeed because you dont know how the pain your hiding from feels like. Its amazing and painful, and the ride is beautiful sweetie..dont be scared!!!!

I agree with you...I am on both sides as well.I guess when we are in love, we would answer this as "it is better to have loved and lost love", but , sometimes someone might feel that "they" would better off not ever being loved at all! :)

ppl learn from their mistakes... sometimes we need to love to see that sometimes love hurts and it's not as easy as it looks... a wise person will learn from their mistake.... but a genious will not only learn from their mistakes and but also make it a life experience to remember.... so remember although we say it's better not to get hurt... stop and think again.... if you don't feel pain you will have a hell of a lot of questions that you may never answer!

It's better to have loved and lost, becasue people learn from the mistakes.. But I know what I want and what not to do, so I'd rather spare myself the needless heartbreak

I think its better to have loved and lost then never loved.Even though losing a painful there is nothing more special then loving...If god didnt want us to love we wouldnt be here.Loving someone is amazing, its even more amazing then being loved.Just my opinion

It is best to have loved and won....never to try love is a waste of a life. I have loved my wife for almost 38 years and would tell everyone to find the love of your life.
