i am sorry to say that but you may never forget that. Dont worry though, you will definately find another man ready to love you. It is natural that people remember their traumatic experience for some time. The worst time is now- after the crush but the pain will go gradually. I never forget my breakdown after breaking up with my exboyfriend. Believe me -even now(after 2years)i still remember him. The best advice i can give you is to get over with your live and try to look for sb else -the best medicine for the old love is a new love. New, intense feelings will dim the old. i hope you are strong enough to face the situation, if not just stick to your friends. im sure they wont let you down. Take care and goodluck my friend.

Well you never really can. I still remember my first big crush and when I do it still hurts abit. Its all a part of life though and as time goes on the hurt goes away bit by bit, it takes time but eventually it becomes one of those memories you can't forget but don't mind having. It will get better but you need to move on yourself, live life in the present not the past, someone will come along eventually that will be the one for you, and when they do they'll be the focus of your life no the old memories.

You cant ever really forget...

this best thing you can do is try to move one, then once you meet the 'right person' for you and you get married...your first big crush will just be a faint memory and your husband/wife and new family will be the highlight of your life.

That's the joy of the first big crush...you never forget it! You'll always remember this person from now on because they've affected your life in a big way. It may be painful now but it'll soon pass with time and you'll move on. But you will look back and think of them in the future...this is all just part of life.

I don' think you ever forget your first real big crush, its all part of growing up. Although wait till you see them 20 years down the line, if you are lucky they will be grim as hell, then you can pat yoursefl on the back for not having taken it any further and, god forbid, having ended up married to them.

It's very difficult. I'm still trying 8 years on and everytime I think I'm over it. Bang! It hits me again.
I hope you can come up with a solution, I'm sure there are plenty of us out there. Good luck :-)

i had a totally major crush when i was 10. it was with a boy sitting beside me in school. he, too, admitted he liked me. but then, we were still immature and just continued having crushes on each other. eventually, i had a crush on another guy and forgot him. so, if you wanna forget him, have a crush on another guy. this will keep your mind off him.

i realized you cant really "forget" somebody you have Any feelings for. time goes by and that doesnt really change things but youll change and meet other people and you wont forget them, but you might get over them a little bit at a time. youll just gradually meet other new people and find new crushes maybe? dont spend too much time worrying about it. just try to have fun chillin with people and meeting new ones.
i hope things go well for you.

Why would you want to? I'm in my mid fifty's and I remember the feeling of my first true love as if it were yesterday. It didn't work out, but I have fond memories.

I'm trying very hard to forget because he's now, 20 years later, living with my sister and they have a son!
