Booked a holiday with 15kgs of baggage allowance (Thomas Cook) per person. We're a family of 4 which will give us 60KG for one week, is that enough or should I pay £10pp extra for another 5kg each

I'd say for for a normal package holiday for a family of four thats about right for just a week.

Unless of course youre going somewhere cooler which needs heavier-weight clothing.

If you work on the assumption that the average sized case holds no more than around 28kg, if you're taking 2 cases you have enough. If you pack the kitchen sink however and intend to bring lots of stuff back then pay the extra.

Good luck

I'd pay the extra. Even if 60 kg is enough for the trip TO the holiday, you're likely to be bringing back extra stuff that you obtain while on holiday.

That amount should be plenty. Pack you suitcases then take out half of what you have packed. Everyone always over packs and you end up hauling around excess weight.
