How do I upload a picture from my computer to be an AVATar?

Question

I don't want any other function they use the picture on, except the answers system.
CAn anyone make it simple?
I chose the spiritual section because this is where I spend my time. Can any of my brothers or sisters help?

you need a 360 account, then you need to edit personal photos and make that photo your primary photo


it's not that difficult once you get the hang of it.

N.B I am assuming that you have a 360 account already, if not you will need to sign up for this.

If you already have this then here are the steps to take;
1.log into your yahoo email account as mormal
2.left click where it say`s My Yahoo in top left corner
3.left click on Yahoo Beta Mail,about 3/4 way down the page.
4.left click on Yahoo!360 Home,at the top right of the page.
5.you will then see your user name and a box at the left hand side,it should read like this,
Start a Blog
Start sharing Photo`s
Edit My Page
Invite A Friend
Left click on `Edit My Page`

6.On this new page left click on Edit Personal Photo`s, there will be several boxes with a grey colored face outline in each,and beside each one of these it will have a blank box and the words Browse beside it.
Left click on Browse and locate where you have stored the photo that you wish to use as your Avatar,I keep mine in `My Documents/My Photo`s.
Double click on the file and Yahoo will upload this for you.

7. once uploaded by Yahoo click on` Set as Primary` and you are now up and running.

N.B; note that you can only use JPEGS as an Avatar for this.
so search the web for pic`s and if they are Jpeg download these to `My Documents or wherever you want them,but make sure that you remember where they are stored.
Do not forget to click SAVE when you have done this

You have to open a Yahoo 360 account, and upload the picture there, making it your primary picture. Then, here, under "Edit my info", make your 360 photo your default avatar.
