Good question. You would be surprised as to how intagonizing cats are with each other. Its like they have their own games going on all the time. You can put down deterrents and boundry products but then your cats gonna be ticked off too. You can get a sharp spray water bottle and add a little vinegar to it and spray the cat when you see it. But as far as when your gone, Theres not much you can do. Let your cat be the judge. Good luck.

there are sprays that you can use on your property line that may keep the unwanted cats from entering your property.
They work by smell and you put it down on the ground like a invisible fence. it called Critter Ridder. it also repels them by taste (it will not harm the animals.)

if you have a female cat that has not been spayed, the other cats are smelling her and wanting to mate with her. get her spayed and the other cats will probably not bother you.

If your cat is spayed or neutered, your neighbor's cats shouldn't bother him/her, even if they're not spayed/neutered. It's the scent that causes cat fights.
