Many events happened in my life recently. Firstly, a close member of mine died of cancer and my 1st relationship ended as well. There were a lot of reasons for the break up but I didn't expect the breakup to occur at a time when I needed him the most.

It's really a tough period for me right now and I don't understand why all these has to happen...Sometimes I think that God made me go through all the events to make me stronger and yet at other times, I'm not too sure.

What do you all think? Is it all in his plans?

To yeesang : How is it my doing that my aunt died of cancer? Did I make her die or do you think that I have the ability to control life and death? Please think carefully before you post a comment.

To D.M: It was never my intention to blame God for causing my pain. Perhaps you've misunderstood my question, please do read what I've wrote carefully. Thanks.

I'm questioning if God put me through to bring me closer to him and wondering if all these are part of his plan since it has always been said that things happen for a reason. I'm just not sure what that reason is right now.

I am a true believer in Jesus Christ and I know that God has a plan for our lives. I was in a five year relationship (we werent living together he kept putting that off) when Go d had me walk away. Even though I was the one who ended the relationship I really felt God had taken it away from me because he opened my eyes to what the relationship truly was. In fact it was not a relationship at all he was just using me when I truly loved him. It hurt so bad not to have him in my life anymore which I am sure you can relate to. But sometimes God has to take people away from us at the worst possible time so that we can better our selves and in my case that door had to be closed so God could open another door. During my time of grief I confided in a group of church members and through that experience I meet my husband who is a wonderful man. I hope that God has something like that in store for you.

There have been many times in my life that I asked God how could you let this happen to me? But, now that I know the calling God has for me I know that He let those things happen so I have those experience to help other people who are going through them.

My suggestion to you is to get in the word, I would suggest Jeremiah 29:11 and also the story of Joseph in Genesis it starts at chapter 37.

God Bless & Jesus Loves You

God does not do things to us...so to say that some things were planned by him would be incorrect. However, God does ALLOW us to go through various things to strengthen our faith in Him and to also strengthen our own abilities to cope. With experience usually comes wisdom and the ability to work through issues.

I am sorry that you have been through a rough period in your life and I will say a prayer for you.

I would suggest however that you keep in mind what the Bible tells us.....

Romans 8:28
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

This means that no matter what happens to us, even though it may be painful, God will make it come out to our advantage is the long run.

You did not say how old you are, but take it from one who has lived 60 plus years....time does heal. God Bless You.

Some of the biggest leaps of growing closer to God come out of tribulation, temptation, and persecution. There is very little growth, if any at all when a person is just happy go lucky without a care in the world. Everytime when somone has grown closer to God, it has been through hard times.

Our normal interactions with other people mean that sometimes we will get hurt and face loss. The only way to avoid this pain is to live your life without feeling anything for anybody.

Wouldn’t that be a far more horrible way to live?

Life is temporary. Everybody you know will eventually die. You will eventually die. People sometimes abandon us, or hurt us Things go wrong.

One plan God has for ALL of us is to help each other alleviate this pain with our love. We are to carry one another’s burdens. We are to care, profoundly, even though that will mean pain and grief.

But with God as your rock, you have his comfort through everything you face in life. Let him comfort you. And let him guide you in your life.

Yes God has a plan for us,His plan is that we all may come to know and love Him and inherit eternal life, one big misconception is that God wants us to suffer and this is heretical and insulting,God wills that no one should suffer, this is soley the consequence of sin in the world, remember death and disease entered the world because of Adam and Eve,it is true however that God will put our faith to the test at times but He Himself does not manufacture the suffering.

If purely reliable issues occurred to reliable human beings, then it would desire to be reported that being reliable replaced into egocentric, and being undesirable replaced into admirable because of the fact they have been prepared to take the effect with a view to do what they needed. hence being reliable could be undesirable and being undesirable could be reliable. God can't enable this, yet God is merely. the lady who dies could have an unmeasurable advantages in heaven. Her ache and dying would be like a foul dream purely. To her murderers would be flames and dying. they gained't additionally be concept approximately. you think of you recognize what fact is and that God would not make experience. human beings have faith what they choose and can desire to have faith, no longer fact. actual fact could be so foreign places it may deliver you right into a tail spin. there's a miles better fact than the waking state, to which the fabric international is nearly a dream.

Things are going to happen that make us afraid, sad, and unsure, no God does not make these things happen "for time and unforseen circumstance befall us all" Ecclesiastes 9: 11
There is another catch-phrase, "that those who suffer the most - are stronger than most.
It's something that happens to all of us, we fall down, we get back up and start over again.
