To be perfectly honest, my Darling, we all have trouble loving some of our neighbors as we do ourselves. They might be gay, they might be black, they might be disabled they might be scabby, pustual-covered and green; but if we can look beyond that; it's then we see the face of God in everyman and in ourselves. Many people can't make it past what they see. They don't love enough or they hate and fear too much. We're all guilty of it because we all do it -- whether we admit it or not.
And as for Hell? The Christians can keep it because they made it. A good God doesn't punish anyone for loving someone. We're all going Home and I'll see you there, my Dear One. Blessings.

Yeah I've seen all those arguments before; nice cut-and-paste job, you probably got all those from a homosexual-friendly website. Those are actually twisting the message around to claim the opposite of what they really say. Many places God says marriage is between a man and a woman. In fact Jesus even reiterated it: Matthew 19:4-5 – 4"Haven't you read," He replied, "that at the beginning the Creator 'made them male and female,' 5and said, 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh'? Show me anywhere in the bible where God says two of the same sex should be united together.

If Love comes from God then how can loving anyone be a sin? Jesus even tells us to love our enemies. When He was here on earth he did not spend his time with the righteous, he spent it with the sinners. Did you miss that part?
Actually I think you already knew that. What you're really looking for is some kind of justification for your behavior.
I don't believe that homosexuality comes from God, so I do believe that it is sinful, just as any sex outside the bonds of marriage is. On the other hand I don't pretend to understand the struggle you go through nor the pain that you have probably felt (and I am sorry for that) so I'm glad you have peolpe like that in your life.
Love is the answer to the question you should be asking.

Kedar, hell isn't such a bad place. Most of the really good rock groups are going to hell, so it will be like one live band after the other. They say Celine Dion is going to heaven and I certainly don't want to spend eternity listening to that garbage. Beside, every actor/actress from "Sex in the City" and "Desperate House Wives" is going to hell. I certianly don't want to miss out on season 9,317 of either of those shows. But seriously, Kedar, don't let all the static you hear about hell get to you. If heaven won't accept you for who you are or your loved ones for unconditinally loving you, then you should embrace spending eternity together...and spendign it somewhere that has a little more excitement.

Yes, he means even if that person is gay.
No your friends and family will not go to hell for loving you unconditionally --because God's smarter than that.
He also loves you unconditionally.
It wouldn't make sense for him to love you unconditionally and then condem to Hell everyone around you for doing the same.

If God were to be real, I can't understand why us humans don't stand up to Him more.
My two best friends are a happily married couple. I love them to death. If they might end up in hell, simply because the are both male, then I wanna be in hell to.
I don't believe in a god, some people call me a blasphemor But people who believe that their god would be this hateful, are the true blasphemors.

How sad and pathetic some of these religious people who've answered so far, who have nothing to say except the standard "hate the sin, not the sinner".
Ironic too, because isn't "hating" a religious "no no" ?
Can I borrow a cup of sugar ?
