Does Ibuprophen have something to do with high blood pressure?

My blood pressure went up and my cardiologist asked me if I was taking ibuprophen. We were both in a terriblel hurry, and I neglected to ask him why?

High blood pressure in itself isn't a side effect, however, one is fluid retention which could cause your blood pressure to rise.

yes----you take it a lot?? try regular aspirin as directed on the package
