Actually, most men (and women) with gonorrhea have no signs or symptoms of the STD. So, it's very possible that he had no idea he had it.
See a doctor as soon as possible and have them take a look. If it is gonorrhea, be glad it's a curable STD and not an incurable STD!
And, now that you have been in this situation, it's important that you know you can not trust ANYONE when it come to this. People lie constantly about how many people they have been with, STDs, past relationships, etc. You, and you alone, are responsible for your own health. Know your partners STD history before you have sex with them (even if they seem really trustworthy)!
Good luck to you! Be careful and stay safe!

To be totally honest with you... it is your fault. Alot of men don't get checked out because they are scared and then they rarely show symptoms of and STD. So you really can't blame him. Gonnerhea can be cured and like you said ou learned your lesson. Next time if you decide to not use a condom.. go get tested out with your partner. So you can feel and be safe. I know that sex comes in the heat of the moment but you still have to use your head. Be safe!!

First, see the doctor immediately. If you're young, so what! Tell your mom or go to a planned parenthood because it can cause serious problems if left untreated. Second, stop pointing fingers. He might not know and could be passing it on to others or he might know and you can talk about it. Some STDs have signs and some don't. Those that have signs don't always exhibit them 100% of the time. Stop getting angry at him. Its too late. From now on, always use condoms and be selective on your partners. I have highrisk HPV and more importantly did use a condom. So don't think condom are 100% protective because they are not.

Why don't you call your former lover and find out?
Like you said, you should have used a condom or some other kind of reliable form of protection.
Please forgive me for asking but weren't you worried at all about becoming pregnant or are you barren or on the pill anyways?
P.S. I hope that you did learn your lesson and swiftly gotten rid of that nasty & unsavory STD by the way!

Wait. You haven't been to the doctor? Wow. You need to go immediately. Never self-diagnose. You need proper treatment. Gonorrhea is very dangerous if not treated.
It does suck when someone you thought you could trust betrays you like that. But the good news is----getting treatment can CURE it. Yes. Cure it. Get to the doctor!
