the vena cava is the major vein leading to the heart, but it's made up of the superior vena cava (collecting the blood from the head and shoulders) and the inferior vena cava (collecting blood from the rest of the body).

there are two main viens draining into the right side of the heart superior vena cava ( from upper part of the body ) and inferior vena cava ( draining the lower part of the body ) also there is 4 pulmonary viens delivering the blood from the right side of the heart to the lung to be oxygenated
