noodles or rice ,with chinese?

Rice is best..........steamed!!! Doesn't have the extra flavors like noodles do that may take away from the dish you're eating.

Oh man, hard choice. Have to go with rice.

One of our local malls has a Chinese food place that gives heaping servings and you get both rice and noodles with any entree. I'm telling you it last for days because the portions are so large.

Not being a cannibal I can't say. If you mean Chinese food, then it depends on what sort of Chinese food.

Southern Chinese food is normally accompanied with rice, western and northern dishes are more likely to be served with noodles.

I used to always have rice, but lately, since being given real noodles by some far eastern neighours, I prefer noodles.

Most of the time, I would have streamed rice, Jasmine - good quality just cooked one to serve with Cantonese / Shanghainese food. Tan Tan mein for Szechuan Cuicine and fried la mein for Pekingnese (ocassionally).

But when it is the ending of a Chinese wedding or other banquet, I like to have both, a small bowl of fried rice and a small bowl of wonton mein or braised e-fu mein.
