I guess this isn't really a question, but I'm really getting sick of people who have too much time on their hands, and they decide to look through the vegetarian questions and leave rude remarks. Why would you judge someone for the harmless and personal decisions that they make? Do you really care what we put into our bodies? We know what we are doing and why we are doing it, and to us we are passionate, and strongly believe our decision to become vegetarians. Are these the people who hate homosexuals? Are these the people that hate minorities? If someone chooses to live differently than you regardless of their reasoning, why belittle them, and disrespect them?

VICTOR H: Yikes let me explain myself, because you were not reading very well.
People, who don't respect people’s choices and decisions in life, don't respect individual’s ways of life, which could include homosexuality. No where in my question did I say that homosexuals could not be vegetarians!

Brilliantly stated my dear, I am giving you a star. I think they feel insecure with themselves, and resent when some one strays from the herd (we did quite literally, didnt we) They are too closed minded to embrace a lifestyle such as ours, so the only way they can make themselves feel secure about it is to taunt us. Most people have been conditioned to be just like everyone else. When someone doesnt share their viewpoint, they have to close their minds to new ideas, and make themselves feel more secure by trashing the ones who think differently. Like you, I suspect they are closed minded in all aspects, not just this one. I pitty them-clueless, uninformed, blissfully ignorant idiots. They only make themselves look stupid anyway. Here is your star, thanks for taking the time to post this. Have a great day!

This has been baffling me for quite some time. It's not like there's any reward in posting replies, as the points aren't worth anything.
Why someone would post "Beef" as the single word reply to a question like "I'm vegetarian. Can you give me some ideas on what to eat tonight!" is a mystery.
I, like you, assume that the people who post things like that are narrow-minded, frankly quite stupid, individuals, who have absolutely nothing of any worth to say. If they did, they would be looking through the threads on subjects they are actually interested in and posting useful and informative replies.
I can't come up with a single explanation as to why anyone else would wish to condemn me for proving that I am a compassionate, considerate human being, who can actually consider the welfare of another living being on this planet. Presumably it is simply a thought process that is impossible for these kinds of people.
I almost regret that I have to waste a second of my time rating their replies with a thumbs down, but I feel I have no choice.
As you very succinctly said, ours is a harmless decision - in fact, it is the exact opposite.
Unfortunately, the downside of this kind of public website where just anyone is allowed to join and post, is that there are always morons who have delusions that they are either funny or intelligent. At least we know they are wrong, even if they don't have the mental capacity to understand this.

I am not a vegetarian, but I I go veggies sometimes cause I know is good for me. Cleansing. I really have a hard time to understand why people would be so mean about choices we make. There is absolutely nothing wrong with being vegetarian. Is a choice, a way of life, and people should just shut up and take care of what is important for life.

Amen ! and well-said. I am really tired of people trolling in the veggie section only to be crude and mean. I don't post anything horrible and nasty in the food section against meat-eaters...that's their decision to do so. I respect the fact that they do what they want to do. No big deal.
It would be nice to have the same respect reciprocated!

I'm not a vegetarian but I do respect them for their decisions and strong will in this meat-filled country!
Please report them, I'm so tired of getting dumb answers from people!

Yeah, it's bad, but do you ever get into the Religion & Spirituality, Politics or LGBT categories? There's some ire that will make "Go marry a carrot" look insignificant.

Everyone has an opinion. In my opinion many people are just not happy therefore they have to have a way of making themselves feel better so they just make everyone else miserable.
