If you go to the local parts shop that sells a range of car products you should be able to find a static strap. Fit that to the rear of your car. It drags on the ground, which earths the car out. You should find that it will stop the shocks. Best $10 you can spend on accessories if you always get shocks! They actually work so it's worth the money.

It is actually normal for some people to be shocked more often then others due to differences in the electrical fields of individual people. I get shocked quite often whenever I shut off my car and exit. Not much you can do except for stuff like making sure you use fabric softener avoiding polyesters and grounding yourself (just touch metal). But that will usually shock you also if the glass would've.

It's usually more related to what material your clothes and the interior of the car are made of. Dry air tends to exacerbate the problem.
You build up a static charge that is released when you touch something metal. It's probably nothing to be concerned about, but if you are still worried, you might take it to the dealer and have them check out the grounding, etc. (though they will probably just charge you money, and tell you the same thing I just told you).

the least confusing thank you to resign this from occurring is, carry the fringe of your door on the steel at the same time as you slide out of your motor vehicle. The static you create will pass the motor vehicle physique without surprising you. in case you do floor your motor vehicle with a twine touching the earth. you would be able to desire to probably be a great deal stunned in a lights hurricane.

I have experienced the same thing w/ every vehicle I have owned. There is one thing that will prevent it but it takes a bit to get in the habit. If you hold on to something metal (that is grounded) like the scuff plate on the older cars while you get out you won't get shocked.

It is called static electricity and it must be something to do with your wearing. The current is rather low and will not able to kill someone. However, please check your dressing and wearing and may need to make some changes to them. Do be careful when you are refuelling.
