He's god. apparently, he can do anything. So, why did he allow all of these false religions to decieve so many?

Is this heaven's method of population control?

Religion isn't real. It's man made. God did not send us Christ to create religion. Christ spoke of God's love and everlasting life. It's funny how most of these religons share the Holy Bible yet they say they are the true way to God. I wonder does it really matter if your Protestant, Methodist, Lutheran, or Baptist. Who cares if your worship service is done a different way. Do you think great evangilistic men like R.C. Sproul, Charles Spurgeon, Jonathon Edwards, or even Billy Grahm ever disagree in their theology? Who's to say that one is right or wrong. Only God Himself who will judge us all, believers or not, once we die and face him.
All I know is that Christ said he was the way the truth and the life no one can get to God except through him - John 14:6. Romans 6:23 The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ. Acts 16:31 - Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved.
Where is religon in all of this?

There is only one true religion from the beginning: it is the religion of Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Mohammad. Because the religion, which the former prophets have brought, became corrupted at the hands of men. God had to introduce again and again prophets. So, the only religion and book, which are not corrupted, are Islam and the Holy Quran. Islam means submission (to God). We muslims accept all previous prophets as our prophets. And we also accept the Old and New Testament in their non-corrupted form.

I read an article off yahoo news that said that if you took all the people in the world who are currently alive including every country including China--that we all could fit in the state of Florida. Just thought I would bring that up.

As to your question about false religions, please know this...religion is not insignificant but religion and God are two different things. Think of religion as a strategy a football team uses to get to heaven and God as the End Zone Touchdown who we are always seeking to get to and draw closer to. Many people argue and bicker over whose, strategy, denomination or religion is the best way to God IE a Mormon and Catholic may have differing views, but the best way to do is to respect others beliefs and stick to what you think is the best way for you. I am not claiming God has no preferences as to which religion(s) he prefers as a way to following him but I do know that God loves us as us and not us as our denominations no matter what they may be.

Who's to say only one religion is correct? There's one God,but to different people he takes different forms. If you are to analize this its like he's broken into a few pieces so he can please everybody. And then there's the theory..where's God when all these massacres happen? I seriously don't think there should be all these religious quarells throughout the world...the deal is : believe what you want to believe and leave the others to do that as well...God never needed any protection...so you don't have to worry...

God allows all men free agency to seek Him, or not, according to their own ways.
IMHO, no religion is false. Some just have more truth than others. And I don't believe that God throws anyone into hell for joining the wrong denomination.

God allows them because He allows free choice...up to a point. There are many instances in the Bible that show He can, indeed, get His fill of some things.

They are not, different cultures have different schools of thought and for any one particular group to claim that their religion is the only true one is very, very, arrogant and potiently insulting. To make such a claim is very much akin to people who believe that only their race is the right one and all others are inferior. Also all religions have a traceble history , usualy going back to single person who had an enlightening experience, be it Christ, Mohomed,Buddha or Shiva and all of them tend to borrow from each other different ideas, teachings and formats.

There's no single religion in this world or universe that has claim over truth or monopoly. Truth is the truth, like the taste of salt or sugar, you may find similar answers from every different people regardless of faith or religion. So is the truth.

One realizes the truth regardless of religion and beliefs, when revealed to them. There is no way for one to claim absolute rights over truth. Truth belongs to everybody and every one has their freedom to choose and learn, to discover for themselves.

All religion is man made, but truth cannot be made or destroyed. All religion are created by men in order to have a code of living and guide of moral conducts/set of beliefs in order to survive 'spiritually' in this world. One need not be religious in order to see or realise the truth also.

hahaha.....population control......good one! I never thought of that!

I guess one could argue that God has given us free will, and chooses to let us exercise it.

I often wonder why, when God can do anything, he allows children and animals to be abused -- THEY don't have the means to stop their abuse.
