Start your computer. As soon as you first see the Windows start up screen, hit the restart button on your computer.
The next time Windows start up screen appears you will have the option of selecting Safe mode startup.
Use the Up/Down arrow keys on you keyboard to get to the right place.
Once you select safe mode/enter you will see a screen full of jibberish, wait for you computer to start up in safe mode. Your desktop will look different but you will still be able to select and run programs.

Hi,

While ur computer getting started, Keep press and leave ur F8 button on ur keyboard this needs to be done before u see WinXP Logo, if u have pressed F8 on the right time u will get a Menu with Norma, Safe Mode, Safe Mode command prompt and etc...

If u fail to get this screen and windows Xp is getting started dont just switch off to try again, wait till windows loads and go to start - restart ur computer and try for next time.
