Is it worth a visit while in New York?

The woodbury common outlets are about 1 hour north of NYC. Some of the outlets have really good deals and others do not. There are over 200 stores there. If you decide to go, make sure you register at their website. They have online coupon specials and you can print out a coupon to receive a special coupon book when you arrive at the outlet.

Not if you're just visiting. I've found Woodbury Commons to be pretty disappointing. I usualy end up spending $ on crap I don't really want b/c I took such a long drive to get there. The prices aren't that much better than in NYC. And most store have year old inventory. If you're a sneaker fanatic, it may be worth it. Got cheap Pumas there. But otherwise, not worth your time in my opinion. Can get good deals in the City. It would suck for you to go all the way there & end up only buying 2 or 3 items.
If you really want to go to outlet stores, try Jersey Gardens. All the stores are outlets. Much closer to NYC, less that 30 min away & they have a lot of the same stores that Woodbury has.

Woodbury Commons outlets? It really depends on what you're looking for. If you just want to wander thru designer outlets or are willing to take the time to browse without a set item in mind, then yes it is worth it.
I would take the bus or drive in early - parking gets CRAZY the later you go, I once had two people fistfight over my parking spot.

If your visiting NYC and want to shop at a outlet, try Jersey Gardens.....closer and slightly lower tax...(on taxable items obviously)
The only store that attracts me to Woodbury Commons is the North Face Outlet =)

It's not as good as you might think. Some stores have great sales but other than that the prices are pretty normal. your outside walking store to store so if the weather is bad be prepared

i dont know that particular store(s) but i can tell you that woodbury is fairly far out on the 'burbs of nyc, and manhattan has no shortage of shopping so i dunno if you'd wanna make the trip, mta.info has bus and train info if you do go.

its a good outlet center
but i wouldnt bother going out there
the same amount u spent out there
u could find somewhat good deals in manhattan
