At 15 it's hard to say if you are really gay or not. I suggest you go to yahoo group ex gays international and read Prayers for Jonathon by Bridget Knight and Coming out straight by Richard Cohen

Nobody can be "cured" from becoming or being gay because it is not an illness, it is the way that person is born. Just like heterosexuals like the opposite sex, they were born that way, gays like the same sex, and they, too, were born that way. Don't let anybody fool you to think being gay can be "cured" or if it is you, you will live a oppressive, depressive, non-honest life. Being a gay/lesbian is not a disease and so there is no escaping from the same. It is just a way of life the universe or providence has ordained to the concerned person.

No I don't think so... By that time you can see what a devastating education has done to them. Personally I would blame the teachers who have influenced him or her.
