Does anyone have any good sushi recipes? I love avacados, and would also love to hear a lovely california roll recipe too (i hate the plain, bland regular ones).
And I need help. What is that one "sushi" that has JUST the shredded crab meat in it??

There is the crab roll or a spicy crab roll
- which usually doesn't have crab meat in it (most sushi restaurants use imitation crab that is made from whitefish- it is cheaper and is not so fishy after a day or two)
Try a salmon, avocado, cream cheese
I make these for party's - salmon, avocado,cream cheese rolled into a ball shape- not mixed. And add sushi rice to the out side and make an egg shape, cut them in half and call them DRAGON EGGS!

I can't eat avocado, but enjoy my "sushi" with the crab meat and cucumber. You can also use chives and tobiko (flying fish roe) on your California Roll as well to give it a little color and zing. One of my favorite sushi's is smoke salmon, cream cheese with tobiko and topped with maguro. A huge amount of sushi to bite into, but certainly wonderful!
