From experience I can tell you to not believe what the doctors tell you. Get a second opinion, or a third. No one knows when someone is going to die. It's just a guess based on 'statistics and individuals are not statistics.

But, since you are just asking a rhetorical question just for 'fun' in the cancer category . . you do know that some people here really are dealing with this type of 'fun' news. But, since you wish to have a good time at the expense of people who are suffering I will try to answer this. If you have been diagnosed with a cancer and you are so far along that you have only one month . . there will be little to nothing that you can do to have a 'good time'. Most of that time will be spent being extremely tired (due to the dying process or due to the drugs to keep you from pain) . . you will not be able to do the things that you imagine. The best you can do is stay at home, under hospice care so that you are not in any pain, and ask friends, family, and neighbors to visit you as much as possible . . day or night . . and just enjoy their company. You can give the money away, because it will be meaningless to you by that time. You can't take it with you.

Didn't someone else just ask this question last weekend only it was six months?

Ok Doctors may think they're God, but only God can decide when you're actually going to die, so doctors have been known to not quite get it right. I'd get a second opinion first.

Of course if both opinions concurred I'd live like I was dying. I'd eat whatever I felt like eating that is totally unhealthy for you and that I like, potato chips, dip, ice cream, brownies etc. I'd have at least one or two alcholic drinks a day, especially strawberry marguaritas or daquaries or iced tea laced with vodka.

I'd do the things I may not have had time to do before or desired to do before, like the Tim McGraw song Live like You were Dying talks about. I'd make sure I'd forgiven my enemies, told the people I needed to tell that I loved them, gone hot air ballooning at least once and I'd make sure my ethical and financial will were caught up. Then I think I'd have my funeral early or at least the wake so I could participate with my friends and hear some of the stories they were going to tell about me and I'd tell a few of my own.

I would spend it with my family...making videos for my infant son. I would make sure that I told everyone that I love just how much!!! I would also tell them about the love of Christ and just how much it has done for me.

The reason I say this is because right now my husbands aunt is going through this exact thing. This is what she is doing and although she is scared and sad. She is at peace. She does have money and she has done the traveling, but the cancer is beyond that point now.

I would spend the month researching and finding individuals and families that could use the money. I would visit them and hand them the money they need. I think it would be an amazing and rewarding experience for the last days of my life.

I would donate my life self to a major research cause in case my death sentence could be prevented in others.

Oh, and I would eat tons of dark chocolate every day because who cares about pimples if you are going to die in a month :-)

Spend as much time with everyone that I love. Let the people I don't like know I don't like them and why and hopefully try to find a way to make amends, but if not, at least they know.

I would spend my time first by "making restitution" to any members of my family I may have offended. Being the "red-haired stepchild"....I would have my work cut-out for me...smiling......
Then I would try to have fun.....and make it not "seem so bad" for those who love me. We would have such a good time.
Then I would try to do something to make the world a slightly better place than how I found it.. Try to do something that will make my life have meaning....
