the age gap is sooo short. and so wat if hes ur bro's friend? wouldnt u like dat? ur bro will teach him a lesson if the guy u like dumps u or if u guys fight or something. and to make surue ur bros ok with that. ask him questions, if u dont want to tell ur bro that u like hes friend, dont give him the exact line that u like his friend

ok well i'm a 14 year old girl, so im around them alot. A 14 year old guy will not go out with a 12 year old. Sorry, the age difference may only be 2 years but between 12 and 14 there is a world of difference.
Move on and forget about him,

Tell him you like him. Guys like it when the girl asks them out for a change. But at your ages he might be embaressed and reject you because of your brother it might be best to wait a couple years or ask him now and if he turns you down ask again in a few years wish I could help more but I haven't been 14 in a long time.

I hate to say it, but at your age, 2 years is a big difference. How well does he know you? You could try asking him out but unless you know him pretty well he most likely won't say yes. If you really like him though, you might as well go for it. Good luck
