I just turned 22 on the 15th, I am 6"0 tall and weight 190. I am a little scared, considering that In high school I used to weight 160. I've put on 30 pounds, that now I am trying to loose. Can someone guide a little on how to loose weight fast. Also, I used to drink a lot of Green tea and water, and it was helping me loose weight, but one day the doctor told me it was bad for me. My mother and sister had gallstones, and the doctor said it was really bad to drink tea when you have a history of gallstones in your family. Thank you for your time.

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried - no junk food.

Well, I doubt you can be that overweight. I'm 6 foot tall and way little over 200 pounds. I started at 240 though and lost 40 in about a month and half or so.
You have to be active, go to the gym. Cardio is good but not the end all be all. Separate your legs into one day and upper body into the next so you can go every day. Try to take 1 or 2 days off though. Watch what you eat. Fat free crap still has a load of carbs to make up for it. I pick fat instead of carbs. I'm not doing Atkins or anything, just being smart. Also eat smarter. Keep your body going by eating smaller meals through tout the day. I use muscle milk to help add small meals (just half servings). Protein is harder to burn then carbs too, as a result it burns more calories to process. And if you start going to the gym and your weight goes up but you look better DONT worry, muscle is heavier then fat. Then the muscle will burn the fat. You could end up a solid 180. 160 seems very skinny, if your determined to hit it, cardio is the best way, it builds leaner muscle and do lots of light reps instead of heavy reps on the weight benches and machines (for leaner muscle mass).
Your goal is doable, just have to stick to it.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

Being as young as you, 20 pounds is not that much. I was 165 in high school. I'm 29 now, and 215. It just depends on how you put it on. Look at your diet and exercise. Period. Are you working out? If you are, do you do a lot of weights? Or are you running a lot. If you do more cardio workouts, you will loose more weight. If you are doing more weight training, than your muscles will work differently, and you will gain weight and mass. Drink lots of water. Helps flush out your system and keeps you hydrated. A lot of people don't drink enough water. Soda makes you retain water weight. So, with that little bit of info, I hope you can achieve your goal. Maybe you will not look at that 30 pounds as being so bad. Not if it is all muscle that is.

well the answer is simple it depends how how wight you want to lose in how many times i can tell you how to lose wieth in just 30 days the trick eat more veges and fruiet them meants or sweats and if your not hungry dont eat the body has to eat the fat that you all ready have and drinks lots of water and dont be stupud dont get donw do a dangerely lose wieght oh yeah exercise way way way more then you eat good luck and be carfull when losing wieght you eat more food them you have eaten your put alot more wieght on the you did before and food is not someting to do its a powers soure yuo body does not need that much remember think resposible and like i said good luck and i hope you the best

Hi, I just wanted to tone my abs a bit...and I've been using this program for a month now, so far so good, my abs never looked like this before, and I was concerned about health so I didn't go for pills and stuff like that, and kept eating almost everything. Hope it will do the same for you:

if you're 6 feet tall and 190, that's not overweight at all. I wouldn't worry about it too much. If you do want to lose some weight....you could try to lay off the carbs......like sugar, bread, fruit juices, etc.

first do cardio exercise if you want to lose weight such as running jumping in the jump rope because weights are gonna make you weight more cuz your gonna build muscle,but running works it worked for me

get on to the gym and work out... you'll lose the weight.

eat salads, chicken, fat-free stuff..

easy.
