Primo, limewire's paid Client shouldn't slow your system down.
Secundo, the problem of selecting the State in USA can be easily resolved by your simply telling a white lie and selecting USA for your Country and selecting New York for the State, rather than try to get the UK address which doesn't exist there.

Supposedly the paid version run FASTER, not slower.
Limewire is a program, not really a website, unless you mean it's homepage/homesite.

I installed it and 2 months later had to get rid, mind you i had a lap top with it on. Managed to get a nice virus too. It did slow up alot.
What is your memory like on your pc.

limewire.com is same as UK don't worry, if you have over 256mb ram and a 1.8Ghz processor then it should work fine, but do not download anything that is under 100KB, MB is fine but KB is mostly usually, well... all the time a virus
