you have to change the bios settings of the comp. Before the operating system boots up it will run the bios screen whatever button you need to hit to open bios settings will be displayed hit the key and change the booting sequence of #1 to CD and it will work....dont forget to change it back after you are done.....

You should be able to have the CD in the drive, and boot. It should give you a couple seconds to select the CD as the boot device.

If not, go into your BIOS, and make the CD boot before your hard drive, then you'll have the choice on the next boot.

First, make sure your CD is a Bootable CD.

1. Place your Bootable CD into CD drive.
2. Turn OFF your CPU.
3. Then Turn ON your CPU.

Your PC will now boot from your CD.

simply insert windows CD rom and follow instruction.
You might need to change boot sequence from BIOS, if your computer skips CD-rom booting.
