How big of a carry on bag can you take on a airline?

My laptop box is 18' L x 13' W x 6' thick can I take it with me on the plane?

I would suggest that you check directly with your airline, as it may vary depending upon the type of aircraft that you will traveling on. But I always bring a fairly large carry on larger then the dimensions that you gave and have no problem with that.

Small to medium sized CarryOn..
It needs to fit int he Overhead or under the seat. Otherwise it has to be checked at the counter...
