im thinking about purchasing this model but i dont know much about cameras so im hoping to get some advice on whether its a decent camera or not.
im looking for a high zoom, megap, and good quality camera with a non-professional tech and price.
So please comment on this camera and if you know any other cameras that i might like, let me know!

I was so looking forward to the new SP-550, but I am really disappointed. It's not a great camera at all.
It doesn't get very good reviews eaither:

ultra zoom is really not necessary. what you really need is the quality of the picture. 12x optical zoom is more than you expected. no need for 18x optical zoom. right??
