you need to breathe deeper when exercising at a high level of intensity. this occurs when the diaphragm spasms during exercise

By the time the painkiller kicks in, the stitch is gone. Stretch. Breathe deeper and slower. Don't drink right before you excercise. It's just a cramp, they're easy to get rid of.

Dont risk it, you can surely wait until next tue evening to catch up on your exercising. You may split the stitches, and the wounds, and end up having more, which means you may have to wait longer to exercise. Take a few days off, you can catch up next week. Its not worth the discomfort and possible agony if you have to start all over again with the stitches and healing of the wounds.
