She is 18 weeks old, 29lbs and her height (to shoulder) is 16" She is mainly black, with two tan triangles on her chest, all her legs are tan 1/2 way up, and her muzzle and cheeks are tan. She has rather floppy ears. She looks somewhat like a rottweiler, but is much too small for her age to be a full rottie. Her snout is too long for a rott, and her ears are a little too big for a rott. Here is a link to view a few of her pictures. http://photos.yahoo.com/i_luv_my_chitlens I guess the reason why I am so concerned is I am trying to figure out about how big she will be. My sisters Aunt rescued her after a car threw her and her brother out thier window, in a field in the middle of winter.. so she is my miracle furbaby.

She has been to the vet, should have mentioned that before. They are estimating her age by her teeth. I keep forgetting to ask what her breeds are, She is scheduled to be spayed in 4 weeks, so I hope I remember to ask then. My sisters aunt is not mine, because its her aunt by her husband. I just didn't want to write all that in the first place, lol

She's very similar, including size for age, to my Rikki, whose adult weight was 45 pounds. He was a shepherd-rottweiler mix, the runt of the litter, and the best dog in my family ever.

It's hard to tell when they're puppies. At this point it could be a toss up between a shepherd mix, a hound mix, doberman mix, rottweiler mix, or just a plain mix.

A good predictor of adult height is the paws (or at least it has been for me). If the paws are big, the dog will probably be big. If the paws look proportional, then she shouldn't grow but another few inches tops. I'm sorry I can't give a better answer, I hope someone can!

I'm sure she thanks you everyday for taking her in!

First of all, what a cutie!!!

Looks like she's a mix of Rottweiler and Beagle lol. Also, looks like she might have some German Shepard just based on the coloring.

Either way, she looks adorable!

At 18 weeks and being 29lbs, I'd say she'll be around 60lbs full grown.

She is most likely a rottweiler mixed with a black lab mix. I have a black lab mix and she looks just like your dog. She also weighs about the same, maybe a little bit less, but if she were part rott then that would explain why.

Ok, that might be the cutest dog ever! Who abandon a face like that?

Im not an expert, but that dog definatly looks like she has some beagle in her! The floppy ears just scream hound dog.

Its a good idea to take her to a vet, just to make sure she is healthy. The vet will probably have a good idea as to what breed she might be too.

Congrats on your new puppy friend!

Im not sure but she is soooo cute. It looks really a mix like lab beagle sheppard to me. Probally its parents were a mix of two each then when they had the litter it had 4 different breeds in her. Shes cute and seems sweet so it shouldnt matter too much just as long as she is loved.

She's definitly going to be a large dog. She looks like a Rott. mix. My friend has a dog that looks just like her. She's an Irish Setter/ Rott mix. So that could be possible. She's adorable though congratulations! And she's lucky to have you, thank goodness your Aunt was there when she was. You are right, she's a mircle fur baby :)

I think that this dog MAY be 100% pure MUTT. Yep, it looks like a liddleah. liddle ah this liddle ah that, you know a 100% pure heinz 57 MUTT. the best kind of dog there is. I would have to say Beagle mix, probably a mid size dog 40-50 lbs full grown. No way to be certain though, strictly a guess.

Its very hard to tell from the photos what kind of dog she is, but she is very cute. The first thing I thought when I saw the pictures was how much her shape looks like my beagle. The colours are different, but body type and especially the ears are pretty much the same. My beagle who is 4, weighs pretty much the same as your dog does now, so I'm sure your dog will be bigger than that.

In all honesty, it's impossible to say for sure.

My best guess is that she's some sort of beagle/shepherd mix. She has the look and build of the beagle, and the coloring of a shepherd.

I'm interested to know how you're so exact on her age when you say she's a rescue by your sister's Aunt (wouldn't that also be YOUR Aunt?). Did your vet pinpoint her age based on her milk teeth? If she's seen the vet (as I'm assuming she has, to stay up-to-date on shots, etc.), I'm sure your vet can estimate her final size. It's difficult for anyone online to guess since we have no visual reference.
