erin----14 is a wee bit young to date......i'd certainly not go any farther than holding hands.

Take it slow and easy.

Let him set the pace but slow him down if you are uncomfortable with it.

You are pretty young for dating, and I'd suggest you try to double date if that's possible or practical. Hand holding is fine. So is hugging and kissing as long as you are careful how you go about it.

No sex. You don't want him going to jail.

For dates, consider going out to movies, or picnics or things like that.

Chances are you will have other boyfriends between now and the time you are grown up and married, so leave some experiences for the future. At this point the operative word is "friend." Is dating okay with your parents? Don't be sneaky.

You have to go at your own pace. Dont Worry, Everything Will come natural! You're right...you cant base ur relationship off of movies...that will only end in disaster!

Everything in its time...don't allow yourself to be disrespected by disrespecting yourself. All of those those you listed are much more enjoyable and memorable if they are with someone who you care about and they care about you in that very same way.

just relax. How fast you go is up to him. He should go relatively slow and pick up speed every once in a while so that you'll scream
