I believe love is a mental state in which you lose your mind, go blind to factual information, stop being able to reason and look at everything about that person with rose colored glasses.
I know a couple who were married for 28 yrs and divorced when the husband had an affair with this trim, good looking female. He ended up marrying his affair. Now she is fat and has let herself go and he is misreable in debt and very unhappy. They are never together, and I think he would have been better off to stay with his 1st wife. They had a past and 3 children together. With his new old hag, all he has is a marriage and a bunch of step kids who dont like him. His biological kids will not have anything to do with him. He cheated and lost their respect. He thought he was in love, now he has nothing but himself to blame for losing his mind temporarily.

Heartbreak can be hell... But I still know that I still have so much to offer someone, and that there is someone who will appreciate me for all that I do. Yeah, at times it seems easier to just give up, but I won't let someone else hurting me rob me of the joy I get from being in a loving relationship.

yes...because love is eternal, ever-growing, and ever-changing.
Time will heal all wounds...eventually. You will go on to another chapter of your life and seek the kind of love you once had - only it may surprise you to find something even better...but even if you don't, you will come to terms with your anguish and understand things better later on down the road when you've had more time to reflect without so much emotional weight.

Yes I do. I caught my ex in the act with another guy, It hurt me but it brought me to a new chapter and I found more love than I could have ever possible imagined. I also had two lovely daughters with the love of my life I found. We are truly soul mates!

Heh, i've been through more than most in my time...And i have found that even if you do not "believe" in love, it still happens, you are just slower to accept the fact that you are in love.

i still believe in love.,but i think true love is only in the children that you have when you cant live without them, that's true love and the way you feel when you look into there eyes. that's when you believe in everything. \The answer to that question is YES i believe in love again, cause you can love alot of people in your life time but is it true love?

Yes I do. Just because love can be very painful, doesn't mean that it's not fantastic when it's good.
