Divine law and natural law do not contradict each other. Angels are Spirit and therefore above the laws of wind resistance, as is God.

Angels don't fly. They simply appear where they are sent. They don't journey there, they simply arrive. A being with no physical form would have no wind resistance anyway.

Umm... Angels are spiritual beings of higer orders, sometimes known as Devas. As they do not manifest often on the physical plane, and have almost unlimited access to the higher realms they need not 'fly', they simply would have to will themselves to a location, and they would be there.
Interestingly there are stories referring to Druids and 'Merlins' being able to acheive this feat on the physical plane.

They can fly faster than gliding squirrels. Have you seen them things? Man they are fast. the jump from one tree to another in a flash of brown lightning.

Scriptural data suggest that the locomotive properties of angels are somewhat different than that of purely physical beings. Which causes me to ask: if angels are not purely physical, why do they have wings?

I do not know of these "angels" you speak of, but I can only assume they are a type of bird.
Do not worry, kind mammalian mortal, if these creatures get too close to me, I shall burn them with my radiance and make a nice meal for you, assuming you are of the meat-eating variety of mortal.

well...maybe you should know that this is not a spiritual question,but now that you ask,they can get to 30000 feet and can only fly with 60 km/h so they woun't make more wind around the planet...lol
