Yo, i have a '91 nissan stanza, and my dad always says DONT touch the windows because if they break, they we're screwed cause the parts are so hard to find. One is still broken, and we had to go to the junkyard to fix the other one, and that was four five years ago....is there anything i can do? i hate driving with the windows up man! it gets hot...anybody know if the parts are actually THAT rare?

Window regulators and window motors should be replaced with new parts while the parts are still available. Check your local nissan dealer. one of the main reasons the window cable fails is theifs force the window down and the cable stop breaks and window falls about 3 inches just enough to reach in and unlock the car. Broken regulator cables make the car easier to break into. As always keep belongs out of site.
