hot and spicy chicken?

i wana make hot and spicy chicken like that of macdonalds but m not quite sure on how to go abt doin so...can anyone pliz help me..my main concern is the coating..do i have to glaze the chicken or no..and if i do have to glaze it,then wat should i use

I'm not sure how McDonald's makes their hot and spicy chicken, but here are some ideas:

1. Marinate chicken breasts in Italian salad dressing overnight. Bake for 45 minutes to an hour in a 350 degree oven and baste with butter mixed with Tabasco sauce every 10 minutes. When chicken is done, remove from oven and toss in the sauce.

2. Marinate chicken breasts as above. Mix 1 cup flour with 1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs, 1 tsp garlic, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp pepper, 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes. Dredge chicken in flour mixture and bake until crisp and juices run clear. Toss in hot sauce mixed with butter and serve.

I don't know what the spicy chicken is like at McDonald's but here is a good Spicy Chicken Nugget recipe --

Spicy Chicken Nuggets
Delicious oven-fried chicken nuggets with spicy coating.

3/4 cup lemon juice
1/3 cup water
1 1/2 tablespoons dried rosemary, crushed
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoons Tabasco sauce
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
4 boneless chicken breasts halves, cut into bite-sized cubes
2 slices toasted mixed grain bread
1/2 cup chopped almonds, toasted
3 egg whites, lightly beaten

Combine lemon juice, water, rosemary, garlic, Tabasco and Worcestershire sauce in small bowl. Stir in chicken cubes; cover and chill for 6 to 8 hours or overnight. In a blender or food processor, grind toast to coarse crumbs.

Remove to a small bowl; stir in almonds. Lift chicken from marinade; roll in egg whites, then in crumb mixture to coat evenly. Place on a non-stick baking sheet or silpat sheet. Bake chicken nuggets at 400° for 10 to 12 minutes. Serve hot or cold.
Recipe for chicken nuggets makes 4 servings.
Serve with Sweet and Sour Sauce or Honey Mustard Sauce.

I'm not sure if you mean cajun rubbed chicken, or breaded chicken coated in hot sauce. What ever the case, you should check out www.allrecipes.com
