I do. I don't like him. I tried, but the holier-than-thou attitude is driving me NUTS. This is JPM, "NASCAR is so easy. blah blah blah" If it is so simple, why hasn't he won yet?? In a Cup car on an oval without dumping his team mate, that is? Stupid, cocky, arrogant driver who should go back to F1.

He is actually very good for the sport... Nascar, like all entertaining sports, needs a "bad guy." Someone who is loved and followed by some, but hated by the majority. He is kind of like the opposite of Dale Jr. really... Montoya fills the void "bad boy" spot for Nascar.

Alot of people will say that Jeff Gordon or Tony Stewart are the "bad guys," but they win too much and have too many fans to fit that mold. Unfortunatly for all you haters, Montoya isn't going anywhere, he loves attention and he is getting tons of it. He will get better and eventually win some races (Hopefully he uses some dirty tricks to get everyone all bent out of shape about him even more!)

Last note, everybody keeps wanting to talk about Montoya vs Smoke and how Smoke is going to teach him a lesson and all this. Stewart said on his radio show, he is not holding any grudge against Montoya and that the contact between them two was the fault of both drivers. Although he did say Montoya started it by putting Stewart in a three wide situation after the previous caution. The two were racing hard for 10-15 laps against eachother and Smoke admitted he should of just let Montoya go by after a few laps.

I'm begining to think the IRL or F1 or CART or who ever run him out.
The driver has talent but it seems he wants to shorten the learning curve and in doing so he is not making friends fast.

No. How can you make that decision after only a few races? If you think he is a bad boy look at the bush bros. cant stand em. #20 , 48 and 24 they all are the same way cocky and arrogant. If you want a good clean driver then watch Kenseth, Martin or Burton.

I do, mostly cause arrogance has no place in NASCAR, we already have the likes of Jimmie Johnson, just look at that nextel commercial he did with Elliot Sadler, granted it was scripted, but just another log on the fire, and partly cause I'm a loyal Tony "Smoke" Stewart fan. I have a better idea than sending him back to IRL or F1, how bout they just deport him.

Yes-----JPM comes off as an arrogant lout and like someone says nascar already has enough of those.

For the record I am a nascar fan who does not hate robby gordon or the busch brothers.

Montoya NEVER said NASCAR is easy.I saw an interview where he said it was way harder than he thought it would be.The average NASCAR fan dis-likes EVERYONE that's not a GOOD OL BOY.Just look at who everyone on here hates-Jeff Gordon,Tony Stewart ,Robby Gordon,Bush brothers,Kenseth,Harvick,These guys are all "OUTSIDERS" Wake Up NASCAR-YOU HAVE GONE GLOBAL.Although a lot of people dis-like MONTOYA,they're just afraid of his talent.

No...

He's arrogant, and his driving is rubbish. During his stint at McLaren he was thrashed by Kimi Raikkonen, and was only up to par with Ralf Schumacher during his stint at Williams (Ralf being a not-so-brilliant driver himself). God knows how Williams could have done during the early 2000's with a different lineup (but I digress...).

not me, i think he's good for NASCAR. what arrogance are you people talking about? the only thing i've seen him do is refuse to take sh*t from tony stewart, by far the ******** and most arrogant driver in racing, nothing wrong with that. if more drivers would stand up to stewart and stop taking his garbage, maybe he'd realize that the rules apply to him, just like they apply to everyone else.

Sriously said, he should get a life instead of racing in NASCAR. He is better in ChampCar(CART in the past) and F1 than NASCAR.
