If a civil war starts it will be lead by an atheist. At least judging from what I read on Yahoo, they hate Christians. I live in Canada, so we are not treated as poorly over here.

What about the actions of the far left? Takes two to tango.
I've thought some about this and I think it's going to remain purely a culture war, because both sides are diffused around the country. It's not as clear-cut, geographically, as the Civil War. Thank heavens, because if it were, I feel it would be a definite possibility.

Not really. Christian churches dont preach militantism, neither does Scripture.
If anything is going to start a civil war it will be the radically liberal left trying to turn this country into the United States of EUROPE.

Unlikely.
any slip to either the far right or left would be gradual.
It could take 50 years or more.
The result would be people would not know what hit them till its too late and they would simply have to follow along, go underground, or leave.
As for myself - The day I feel I no longer feel safe in this country is the day I leave.

No, there won't be an America for too much longer anyway....with all of the liberal agendas letting us kill our children in the womb and allowing terrorists to freely come across the border. We'll all be toast -- radioactive octogenarians -- that is! No, wait, they won't let us live that long -- they'll herd us into "hospitals" and euthanize us!
