Toss it in a pot that has a lid, cover with water add some bullion and any frozen veggie that the family likes and have a hearty soup with some toast. Simmer with lid on for about 15 minutes. Some chopped onion and a can of tomatoes if they eat that.

Or make spaghetti sauce and cook some kind of pasta that is quick and easy. I love tacos but all the things I like on them seems to take forever.

Add a couple cans of pinto beans and some onion. Pass the garlic bread or canned biscuits. Make a quick salad.

Plop it in a skillet with a little bit of water as it starts to sizzle add some chopped onion and a bit of Worcestershire sauce, a couple Tablespoons of flour, stir up good and add milk---serve your gravy over mashed potatoes with cooked peas or frozen corn.

season the meat
(like for sloppy joes or taco)
1 can of biscuits
sharp cheddar cheese

spray your muffin tin
line each tin with two biscuits
fill with seasoned meat and top with cheese
Bake by the directions on the biscuits

Serve with a salad, mac cheese, veg sticks

Kids really love these!!

Mix in onions,celery,sea salt,pepper,add to brown cooked steamed rice,you can also add peas,green beans, if you choose.

add taco seasoning and reheat and make tacos.
spaghetti sauce is good too.
make mac - n - cheese and mix in the meat

It depends how you hve cooked it. If it is just plain, say browned in a pan, and then frozen you can use it in any minced beef recipe you like! Just thaw, and cook lass when it calls for cooking the fresh meat!

here are some recipes...

American Meatloaf
Ingredients:
1 small onion 2 oz / 60g fresh breadcrumbs
1 clove garlic 2 OXO cubes
1 egg 1 tbs tomato puree
1 tbs oil 1 lb / 450g lean minced beef
Sauce:
1 small onion 1 small green pepper
1 tbs olive oil 1 can chopped tomatoes
1 Italian OXO cube 4 tbs double cream
Method:
Heat oven to 180 C / gas 4. Peel and chop onion, crush garlic. Beat egg lightly. Cook onion and garlic then mix together with the meat, breadcrumbs, OXO cubes, 3 fl oz / 57ml boiling water, egg, tomato puree. Mix well. Turn into lightly oiled loaf tin. Bake 1 hour.
Sauce:
Chop onion and pepper finely. Heat oil and cook them 3-4 minutes. Add tomatoes and OXO cubes. Simmer 15 minutes until thick and pulpy. Serve with meat loaf, green veg and mashed potato.

Beef and Cabbage Casserole (thbis is a family favourite in our house, kids love it!)
Ingredients (serves 2):
½ lb / 250g mince Half a head cabbage, shredded
1 medium onion, chopped 4 tbs tomato puree
Pinch cinnamon 4 fl oz / 120ml beef stock
¼ tsp ground cloves ½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
Method:
Preheat oven to 180 C / Gas 4. Fry beef and onion until meat is browned (5 minutes). Pour off fat. Add tomato purée, beef stock, cinnamon, cloves, salt and pepper. Stir to blend. Place half the cabbage in a greased casserole, top with half the beef mixture, repeat layers, cover and bake for 35 minutes to an hour. Serve with buttered noodles and green beans.

Beef with Green Noodles
Ingredients:
6 oz / 175g green tagliatelle 1 tbs oil
1 onion, chopped 1 garlic clove, crushed
1½ lb / 700g minced beef 4 oz / 100g mushrooms, sliced
14 oz / 400g can tomatoes 1 tbs Worcestershire sauce
1 tbs soy sauce 1 tbs soy sauce
1 tbs tomato purée 1 tsp oregano
Salt and pepper ¼ pt beef stock
½ pt milk and cornflour for white sauce 3 oz / 75g cheddar cheese, grated
2 oz / 50g breadcrumbs
Method:
Partially cook tagliatelle for 4 minutes. Drain and rinse in hot water. Place half in the casserole dish (greased). Heat oil and fry onion and garlic until soft, then add beef and fry until browned. Add mushrooms and ½ oz plain flour. Then add stock, soy, Worcestershire sauce, tomato purée and oregano, season. Bring to boil, then pour in casserole. Cover with rest of noodles. Make white sauce and pour over. Top with cheese and breadcrumbs. Cook in a preheated oven 200 C / Gas 6 for 30 minutes until crisped on top.


Meat Loaf
Ingredients:
1 small onion 1 clove garlic
1 egg 1 tbs oil
1 lb / 450g minced beef 2 OXO cubes
2 oz / 50g fresh breadcrumbs 3 tbs fresh parsley
1 tbs tomato purée
Sauce:
1 small onion 1 small green pepper
1 tbs olive oil 1 can chopped tomatoes
1 Italian OXO cube 4 tbs double cream
Method:
Heat oven to 180 C / Gas 4. Peel and chop onion and crush garlic. Beat egg lightly. Heat oil in pan and add onion and garlic. Cook until soft. Turn into a large bowl. Add mince and breadcrumbs. Crumble 2 OXO cubes into 3 fl oz / 75ml boiling water. Add stock to bowl with parsley, egg and tomato purée. Mix well. Turn mixture into lightly oiled 1lb / 450g loaf tin. Bake 1 hour. Allow to stand 10 mins before turning out.

Meanwhile, make the sauce. Peel onion and chop very finely. Chop pepper finely too after removing seeds (you can use a food processor). Heat oil in frying pan. Add onion and pepper, cook for3-4 mins. Add chopped tomatoes and Italian OXO cube. Simmer 15 mins until tender. Stir in cream and simmer 3-4 mins. Serve meatloaf with the sauce.

Beef and Bacon Roll.
Ingredients:
1 lb / 500g minced lean beef ½ lb / 250g minced bacon
¼ lb / 125g breadcrumbs 1 egg
Salt and pepper
Method:
Mix beef, bacon and breadcrumbs. Add pepper and salt and mix in beaten egg. Mix well and form into a roll. Flour and roll up in cloth. Tie up. Put in saucepan of boiling water for 2 hours. When cooked take off the cloth and roll well in breadcrumbs.
