because people like to point fingers and blame someone when things go wrong.
and when they go right, they feel entitled, or that they deserve some good fortune.

I don't believe god exists regardless what goes right or wrong in my life.
I cause the good things to happen with my own actions... going after what needs to be done or helping others.
I'm also usually the cause of bad things... forgetting something or being careless or reckless in my actions.
Either way, it's usually me or someone else... no deity has anything to do with it.
From my experience, people give god credit when things go right but satan when things go wrong.... like god ignores them for a minute and satan gets in. LOL!

Same reason why some people praise god when things are going well, and deny that god had any hand in it when things go bad in life. It is to complete and balance the picture.

Not really, I credit others when things are going good, because everyones plays a part when things are going well. I blame myself when things went bad in my life, because I made the wrong decision and choice.
However, as far as I know, MOST Christians attribute to god the good things happening to them and attribute to Satan the bad things happening to them. Why? Do they not know they are solely to be blamed or attributed to the things done?

Honestly if there is a god I'm sure he can really care less as to what's going on. I picture God and people (if there IS a god) as being like a kid with an ant farm, watch them, laugh at them, occasionally remember to feed them and then feel almost bad when they all die off, but it's okay you can just get more if they do!

Doing so is inconsistent and I know of NO atheist who blames god for anything at anytime since they do not believe that any god exists.

B/c they're uncertain about things. You should read books by religious scholars who believe in no such deity-they neither blame the imaginary friend or give him credit for anything unexplained (which, often times, takes the credit away from the deserving party). Read 'The God Delusion' by Richard Dawkins. He's one of many, many, many individuals who truly understand that no such thing exists.

You're probably the third person in the last hour who couldn't read. We're not blaming god - god doesn't exist. We're asking why you still believe in god when it's obvious he's not there.

I think some people blame God and different people say "he" doesn't exist; not the same people.

We don't blame god. We say, IF your god is real, why did he let this happen? We are asking you for an explanation. But we have to keep asking and asking because we never get one.
