I'm trying to get a tight body for summer. I've been riding my bike about 4 miles a day. How long do you think it will be untill i get some results?

I have been training for 30+ years and think the investment you make today will truly show its results in six weeks.

Things take time and changes happen in the body on the cellular level. I'll use the analogy of breaking a bone and sticking a cast on the limb. You put the cast on today but see the results in six weeks.

Patience and persistance will not fail you. Never give up the tug of war.

Put a dot on a calander six weeks from today and maybe take a "Befor" picture. Then compare it on "dot" day to what you see in the mirror.

Good luck. Never ever ever ever ever quit.

rideing a bike is the best way to get a tight body. I would sugust 30 minute a day stair climber and a lot of abb work outs. Just riding a bike isnt going to cut it. By the way stationary bike or a real bike?

a couple months, if you ride 3-5 times a week. i did the same thing and i lost 10lbs, then put on about 8lbs of muscle (i also lift weights when not riding). my legs look beefed up quite a bit too.

Increase your milage and you will see a better improvement, but at four mpd I would say you should start to feel the muscles tightening quite quickly.
